First!

Well, not first actually, there are a ton of blogs with essentially the same idea as mine,  but as you can see if you click the links than mine is actually one of the few to post anything.

So first?

Maybe this idea is merely doomed to fail and all the other internet denizens have realized it already.

I guess I'll have to wait and let you decide if this is a worthwhile endeavor.

So let's talk about idea and goals.  I'd like to make 1000 origami cranes. What makes this idea unique is that I intend to make an artistic series out of the pictorial evidence.

I plan on leaving the cranes around town, hopefully giving someone a smile.

It's bound to be a sporadic art project, and I plan to share every ounce of progress with you.
